Ligue 2 (Week 20) : Lens beats Tours 3-2
FRANCE, Jan. 13, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 20: Two wins in a row for Lens. After their 2-1 win against GFC Ajaccio on December 17, Lens continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 3-2 victory over Tours this Friday.
Lens dominated the first half thanks to goals from Zoubir Abdellah ('21) and Lopez Cristian ('44). Leading 2-0 at the break, Lens players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Zedadka Akim in stoppage time.
Lens climbed to second place with 35 points from 20 games, 3 points behind Stade Brest.
