Ligue 2 (Week 19) : Lens beats GFC Ajaccio 2-1
FRANCE, Dec. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 19: After losing 3-1 to RC Strasbourg on December 10, Lens returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over GFC Ajaccio this Saturday.
GFC Ajaccio defender Jérôme Mombris opened the score in the 13th minute with an own goal, before seeing GFC Ajaccio catch up in the 27th minute thanks to Court Yoann. 1-1 at half time. Lens eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Fortune Kevin in the 77th minute.
Lens climbed to second place with 32 points from 19 games, 3 points behind Stade Brest.
