Ligue 2 (Week 20) : GFC Ajaccio beats Auxerre 2-0
FRANCE, Jan. 13, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 20: After losing 2-1 to Lens on December 17, Le Gaz bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Auxerre this Friday.
GFC Ajaccio dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Central African defender Amos Youga in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Le Gaz further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Benrahma with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Gazelec Ajaccio climbed to 10th place with 27 points from 20 games, only one point behind Le Havre AC.
