Ligue 2 (Week 21) : RCS defeats Tours 4-2
FRANCE, Feb. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 21: After their 1-1 draw against Red Star on February 17, RC Strasbourg returned to winning ways with a 4-2 victory over Tours this Tuesday.
Tours had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Cillard Thibault ('8) and Bergougnoux ('26), while RCS only scored once Sacko Ihsan ('11). Trailing 2-1 at half time, RC Strasbourg players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Nogueira Vincent '48, Bahoken Stephane '62 and Guillaume '87).
RC Strasbourg Alsace climbed to second place with 43 points from 26 games, 5 points behind Stade Brest.
