Ligue 2 (Week 28) : Lens defeats Red Star 3-2
FRANCE, Mar. 3, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 28: Two wins in a row for Lens. After their 2-0 win against Valenciennes on February 25, Lens continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 3-2 victory over Red Star this Friday.
Red Star had started off well by taking the lead in the 33rd minute with a goal by Ngamukol Anatole. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Lens players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Bourigeaud '51, Habibou '87 and Lopez Cristian '90).
Lens remains in second place with 46 points from 28 games, 3 points behind Stade Brest.
