Ligue 2 (Week 28) : Clermont and Laval play to a 1-1 draw
FRANCE, Mar. 3, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 28: The match between Clermont and Laval ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday.
Laval players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Laval midfielder Alla Hassane on penalty in the 11th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Clermont with a saving goal from Clermont defender Thomas Fontaine in the 74th minute.
Clermont Foot remains in 14th place with 34 points from 28 games, 2 points behind Chamois Niortais FC, which has a game in hand.
