Ligue 2 (Week 27) : Bourg-Peronnas beats Laval 4-2
FRANCE, Feb. 24, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 27: Two wins in a row for Bourg-Peronnas. After their 3-2 win against Tours on February 17, Bourg-Peronnas continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 4-2 victory over Laval this Friday.
Berthoimer Jason and Merdji Yanis scored dual goals
Laval had started off well by taking the lead in the 34th minute with a goal by midfielder Modibo Dembélé. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Bourg-Peronnas players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring four times in the second period (Berthoimer Jason '54 on penalty, '61 and Merdji Yanis '78, '85).
FC Bourg-Peronnas climbed to 8th place with 38 points from 27 games, only one point behind Nimes Olympique.
