Ligue 2 (Week 27) : Reims and Brest play to a 1-1 draw
FRANCE, Feb. 27, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 27: The match between actual leader Brest and Reims ended in a frustrating 1-1 draw on Monday.
Brest players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Battocchio Cristian on penalty in the 15th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Reims with a saving goal from Argentine forward Pablo Chavarria in the 49th minute.
Stade Brest remains in first place with 49 points from 27 games, a 6-point lead over runner-up Lens.
