Ligue 2 (Week 26) : Brest beats Le Havre 2-0
FRANCE, Feb. 18, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 26: After losing 3-1 to Auxerre on February 10, Brest bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Le Havre this Saturday.
Brest dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by midfielder Thomas Ayasse in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Brest players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lavigne with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Stade Brest remains in first place with 48 points from 26 games, a 6-point lead over runner-up Amiens Sporting Club.
