FRANCE, Feb. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 26: Amiens SC was held to a 1-1 draw by Valenciennes on Friday.
Valenciennes players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Senegalese defender Saliou Ciss in the 13th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Amiens SC with a saving goal from Ielsch Julien in the 48th minute.
Amiens Sporting Club remains in second place with 42 points from 26 games, 3 points behind Stade Brest, which has a game in hand.
