Ligue 2 (Week 34) : Valenciennes beats Orleans 4-0
FRANCE, Apr. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 34: Three wins in a row for Valenciennes. After their success against Troyes and Bourg-Peronnas, the Athenians continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 4-0 victory over Orleans this Friday.
Fulgini Angelo scored tripple goals
Valenciennes dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mothiba Lebo in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Athenians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Fulgini Angelo '75, '78, '80).
Valenciennes FC climbed to 11st place with 43 points from 34 games, only one point behind Le Havre AC, which has a game in hand.
