Ligue 2 (Week 34) : RCS defeats Laval 2-1
FRANCE, Apr. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 34: Two wins in a row for RC Strasbourg. After their 4-2 win against Ajaccio on April 17, RC Strasbourg continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-1 victory over Laval this Friday.
Laval had started off well by taking the lead in the 41st minute with a goal by forward Dylan Saint-Louis. Trailing 1-0 at half time, RC Strasbourg players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Blayac '52 and Boutaïb '62).
RC Strasbourg Alsace climbed to first place with 59 points from 34 games, tie on points with runner-up Stade Brest, which has a game in hand.
