Ligue 2 (Week 34) : GFC Ajaccio beats Sochaux 2-1
FRANCE, Apr. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 34: After their 4-4 draw against Clermont on April 14, Le Gaz bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Sochaux this Friday.
Sochaux had started off well by taking the lead in the 34th minute with a goal by midfielder Florian Martin. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Le Gaz nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Hountondji '73 and Tshibumbu '90).
Gazelec Ajaccio climbed to 8th place with 48 points from 34 games, 3 points behind Amiens Sporting Club, which has a game in hand.
