Ligue 2 (Week 33) : RCS beats Ajaccio 4-2
FRANCE, Apr. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 33: After their 1-1 draw against Reims on April 8, RC Strasbourg bounced back with a 4-2 victory over Ajaccio this Monday.
Khalid Boutaïb scored dual goals
Ajaccio opened the score in the score in the 15th minute thanks to Mouaad Madri, before RC Strasbourg regained the advantage with Lienard Dimitri ('17) and Boutaïb ('28). Leading 2-1 at the break, RC Strasbourg players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Boutaïb '58 and Guillaume '66).
RC Strasbourg Alsace climbed to second place with 56 points from 33 games, 3 points behind Stade Brest.
