FRANCE, Apr. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 33: After their 1-1 draw against Tours on April 7, Brest bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Niort this Friday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Joseph-monrose Steven ('63), Gastien ('66) and Diallo Habib ('71).
Stade Brest remains in first place with 59 points from 33 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up Lens, which has a game in hand.
