Ligue 2 (Week 6) : Lorient defeats Lens 3-2
FRANCE, Sep. 9, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 6: Four wins in a row for Lorient. After their success against Chateauroux, Clermont and Reims, Lorient continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 3-2 victory over Lens this Saturday.
Lorient midfielder Gaël Danic opened the score in the 11th minute, before seeing Lens catch up in the 23rd minute thanks to Markovic Filip. 1-1 at half time. Lorient eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Courtet ('58) and Bouanga ('82 on penalty).
Lorient climbed to first place with 14 points from 6 games, one point ahead of runner-up Le Havre AC.
