Ligue 2 (Week 7) : Lorient beats Ajaccio 2-0
FRANCE, Sep. 15, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 7: Five wins in a row for Lorient. After their success against Chateauroux, Clermont, Reims and Lens, Lorient continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-0 victory over Ajaccio this Friday.
Lorient dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Gaëtan Courtet in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Lorient players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mara Mohamed in the 78th minute.
Lorient remains in first place with 17 points from 7 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up US Orleans.
