Ligue 2 (Week 7) : Orleans defeats Niort 3-1
FRANCE, Sep. 15, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 7: After their 1-1 draw against Le Havre on September 8, USO returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Niort this Friday.
Orleans dominated the first half thanks to goals from Gomis Arthur ('11) and Ziani Karim ('19 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, USO further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Bouby in the 51st minute.
US Orleans climbed to second place with 14 points from 7 games, 3 points behind Lorient.
