Ligue 2 (Week 9) : Ajaccio beats Sochaux 6-1
FRANCE, Sep. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 9: Two wins in a row for Ajaccio. After their 3-0 win against Valenciennes on September 19, Ajaccio continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 6-1 victory over Sochaux this Friday.
Wissa Yoane scored tripple goals
Ajaccio dominated the first half thanks to goals from Gimbert ('10), Cavalli ('24 on penalty), Wissa Yoane ('31, '34) and Nouri ('35). Leading 5-1 at the break, Ajaccio players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Wissa Yoane in the 74th minute.
AC Ajaccio climbed to second place with 17 points from 9 games, 4 points behind Reims.
