Ligue 2 (Week 9) : GFC Ajaccio beats Chateauroux 2-1
FRANCE, Sep. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 9: After losing 5-0 to Reims on September 19, Le Gaz returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Chateauroux this Friday.
GFC Ajaccio dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Court Yoann in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Le Gaz further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Diabate Fousseni with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
LB Chateauroux are down in 11st place with 12 points from 9 games, tie on points with FC Bourg-Peronnas.
