Ligue 2 (Week 12) : Auxerre defeats USQRM 2-1
FRANCE, Oct. 20, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 12: After their 1-1 draw against Brest on October 13, AJA bounced back with a 2-1 victory over US Quevilly this Friday.
US Quevilly had started off well by taking the lead in the 29th minute with a goal by forward Mathieu Duhamel on penalty. Trailing 1-0 at half time, AJA nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Yattara Mohamed '68 and Sane Pape '90 on penalty).
AJ Auxerre climbed to 11st place with 17 points from 12 games, tie on points with Valenciennes FC.
