Ligue 2 (Week 12) : Ajaccio defeats GFC Ajaccio 2-0
FRANCE, Oct. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 12: Five wins in a row for Ajaccio. After their success against Valenciennes, Sochaux, Bourg-Peronnas and US Quevilly, Ajaccio continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-0 victory over GFC Ajaccio this Monday.
Ajaccio dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by defender Joris Sainati in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Ajaccio players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Laci Qazim with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
AC Ajaccio remains in second place with 26 points from 12 games, one point behind Reims.
