Ligue 2 (Week 17) : Sochaux beats Valenciennes 3-1
FRANCE, Nov. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 17: After losing 1-0 to Brest on November 24, “Les Lionceaux” bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Valenciennes this Tuesday.
Guezoui Medhy opened the score in the 24th minute, before seeing Sochaux catch up in the 38th minute thanks to Kalulu Aldo. 1-1 at half time. “Les Lionceaux” eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Martin ('59 on penalty) and Andriatsima Faneva ('84).
FC Sochaux-Montbeliard climbed to 9th place with 27 points from 17 games, only one point behind Stade Brest.
