Ligue 2 (Week 17) : Brest defeats Clermont 2-1
FRANCE, Nov. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 17: After two straigth victories against Auxerre and Orleans, Clermont lost 2-1 against Brest.
Gaëtan Charbonnier scored dual goals
Clermont had started off well by taking the lead in the 30th minute with a goal by Uruguayan midfielder Iglesias Jonathan. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Brest players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Charbonnier '71, '77).
Clermont Foot are down in fifth place with 29 points from 17 games, one point behind Paris Football Club.
