Ligue 2 (Week 16) : Clermont beats Orleans 2-1
FRANCE, Nov. 24, 2017 (AMP) — Ligue 2 / Match day 16: Two wins in a row for Clermont. After their 1-0 win against Auxerre on November 17, Clermont continued their sensational form in the Ligue 2 with a 2-1 victory over Orleans this Friday.
Rémy Dugimont scored dual goals
Clermont dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Rémy Dugimont in the 26th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Clermont players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Dugimont on penalty in stoppage time.
Clermont Foot climbed to third place with 29 points from 16 games, 2 points behind Nimes Olympique.
