MLS : Portland and Real Salt Lake play to a 2-2 draw
UNITED STATES, Mar. 19, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: The match between Portland Timbers and Real Salt Lake ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Real Salt Lake players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Plata Joao in the 17th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Movsisyan Yura goal ('58) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Portland Timbers with dual goals from Adi Fanendo ('80 and '84/penalty.
Real Salt Lake climbed to 6th place with 5 points from 3 games, only one point behind FC Dallas.
