UNITED STATES, Apr. 2, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After three straigth victories against Seattle Sounders FC, Vancouver Whitecaps and Toronto FC, the Wizards lost 2-1 against Real Salt Lake.
Real Salt Lake dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Glad Justen in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Royals further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mulholland Luke in the 79th minute.
Sporting Kansas City are down in second place with 9 points from 4 games, one point behind FC Dallas.
