MLS : Kansas City defeats Red Bulls 2-0
UNITED STATES, Apr. 9, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 1-2 to Real Salt Lake on April 2, the Wizards bounced back with a 2-0 victory over New York Red Bulls this Saturday.
Sporting Kansas City dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Feilhaber Benny in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Wizards further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Dwyer Dominic in the 60th minute.
Sporting Kansas City climbed to first place with 12 points from 5 games, one point ahead of runner-up Real Salt Lake.
