MLS : San Jose beats Red Bulls 2-0
UNITED STATES, Apr. 13, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 1-1 draw against DC United on April 9 and 2-2 draw against FC Dallas on April 9, the Quakes returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over New York Red Bulls this Wednesday.
San Jose Earthquakes dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Alashe Fatai in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Quakes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Wondolowski Chris in the 55th minute.
San Jose Earthquakes climbed to fourth place with 11 points from 6 games, tie on points with Real Salt Lake, which has a game in hand.
