MLS : Colorado beats Red Bulls 2-1
UNITED STATES, Apr. 16, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: Two wins in a row for the Colorado Rapids. After their 1-2 win against Sporting Kansas City on April 13, the Rapids continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 2-1 victory over New York Red Bulls this Saturday.
The Colorado Rapids dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Jones Jermaine in the 22nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Rapids further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Badji Dominique with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
the Colorado Rapids climbed to third place with 13 points from 7 games, only one point behind Real Salt Lake, which has a game in hand.
