UNITED STATES, Apr. 13, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After a 0-2 victory over New York Red Bulls on April 9, the Wizards lost 2-1 against the Colorado Rapids.
The Colorado Rapids dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Solignac Luis in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Rapids further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Gashi Shkelzen with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Sporting Kansas City are down in second place with 12 points from 6 games, 2 points behind FC Dallas.
