MLS : Vancouver beats Dallas 3-0
CANADA, Apr. 23, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After two straigth victories against Portland Timbers and Sporting Kansas City, the Hoops lost 3-0 against Vancouver Whitecaps.
Vancouver Whitecaps dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Figueroa Maynor in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Caps further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Harvey Jordan '63 and Manneh Kekuta '77).
FC Dallas remains in first place with 17 points from 9 games, one point ahead of runner-up Colorado Rapids, which has a game in hand.
