UNITED STATES, Apr. 29, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: The Hoops crashed to their 2nd consecutive defeat as they lost 4-0 against New York Red Bulls.
New York Red Bulls dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Sam Lloyd in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, New York Red Bulls players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Kljestan Sacha '53, Grella Mike '71 and Martins Felipe '83).
FC Dallas remains in first place with 17 points from 10 games, one point ahead of runner-up Colorado Rapids, which has two games in hand.
