MLS : Philadelphia and San Jose play out 1-1 draw
UNITED STATES, Apr. 30, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: San Jose Earthquakes was held to a 1-1 draw by Philadelphia Union on Saturday.
Philadelphia Union players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Pontius Chris in the 30th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by San Jose Earthquakes with a saving goal from Dawkins Simon in the 84th minute.
San Jose Earthquakes climbed to fourth place with 15 points from 9 games, 2 points behind FC Dallas.
