UNITED STATES, Apr. 24, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 3-1 to Portland Timbers on April 16, the Quakes bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Sporting Kansas City this Sunday.

Sporting Kansas City made San Jose Earthquakes doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Wondolowski Chris on penalty in the 59th minute.

San Jose Earthquakes climbed to fifth place with 14 points from 8 games, tie on points with Real Salt Lake, which has a game in hand.
