MLS : Dallas beats Portland 2-1
UNITED STATES, May. 11, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After three straigth defeats, the Hoops returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Portland Timbers this Wednesday.
Portland Timbers had started off well by taking the lead in the 3rd minute with a goal by Valeri Diego. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Hoops nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Hollingshead Ryan '55 and Zimmerman Walker '57).
FC Dallas climbed to second place with 20 points from 12 games, 3 points behind Colorado Rapids, which has a game in hand.
