MLS : Real Salt Lake defeats Kansas City 3-1
UNITED STATES, May. 21, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 1-0 to Colorado Rapids on May 15 and 1-0 to Houston Dynamo on May 15, the Royals bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Sporting Kansas City this Saturday.
Real Salt Lake dominated the first half thanks to goals from Martinez Juan ('32) and Davis Brad ('45 own). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Royals further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Movsisyan Yura in the 53rd minute.
Real Salt Lake climbed to third place with 20 points from 11 games, 6 points behind FC Dallas.
