MLS : Revolution defeats Seattle 2-1
UNITED STATES, May. 28, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 2-4 to FC Dallas on May 21, the Revs returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Seattle Sounders FC this Saturday.
Kovar Aaron opened the score in the 7th minute, before seeing New England catch up in the 24th minute thanks to Nguyen Lee penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Revs eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Hollinger-janzen Femi with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
New England Revolution climbed to 15th place with 16 points from 14 games, tie on points with Portland Timbers.
