MLS : Revolution defeats Chicago Fire 2-0
UNITED STATES, May. 14, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 4-2 to LA Galaxy on May 8, the Revs bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Chicago Fire this Saturday.
New England dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Nguyen Lee in the 22nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Revs further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hollinger-janzen Femi with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
New England Revolution climbed to 14th place with 13 points from 12 games, tie on points with Seattle Sounders FC, which has two games in hand.
