MLS : Vancouver defeats Chicago Fire 2-1
CANADA, May. 11, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: Two wins in a row for Vancouver Whitecaps. After their 2-1 win against Portland Timbers on May 7, the Caps continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 2-1 victory over Chicago Fire this Wednesday.
Perez Blas scored dual goals
Vancouver Whitecaps dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Perez Blas in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Caps further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Perez Blas with one minute left in regular time.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC climbed to 6th place with 17 points from 12 games, tie on points with Real Salt Lake, which has three games in hand.
