UNITED STATES, Jul. 13, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 0-0 draw against Portland Timbers on July 10, New York Red Bulls returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Orlando City this Wednesday.
New York Red Bulls dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Lade Connor in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, New York Red Bulls players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Felipe Martins in the 59th minute.
New York Red Bulls climbed to 9th place with 27 points from 20 games, only one point behind Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
