MLS : Vancouver and Orlando play out 2-2 draw
CANADA, Jul. 16, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: The match between Vancouver Whitecaps and Orlando City ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Vancouver Whitecaps players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Mezquida Nicolas ('35) and Kudo Masato ('43) while Orlando City only scored once Baptista Julio ('14). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Orlando City with a saving goal from Larin Cyle in the 50th minute.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC climbed to 7th place with 29 points from 21 games, tie on points with Philadelphia Union, which has two games in hand.
