UNITED STATES, May. 21, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: Two wins in a row for New York Red Bulls. After their 1-0 win against Chicago Fire on May 18, New York Red Bulls continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 7-0 victory over New York City this Saturday.
Mccarty Dax and Wright-phillips Bradley scored dual goals
New York Red Bulls dominated the first half thanks to goals from Mccarty Dax ('3) and Wright-phillips Bradley ('42, '45). Leading 3-0 at the break, New York Red Bulls players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Mccarty Dax '51, Muyl Alex '57, Veron Gonzalo '83 and Baah Gideon '89).
New York City FC are down in 9th place with 17 points from 13 games, tie on points with Sporting Kansas City.
