UNITED STATES, May. 8, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: Two wins in a row for New York City. After their 3-2 win against Vancouver Whitecaps on April 30, NYCFC continued their sensational form in the MLS with a 2-0 victory over DC United this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Villa David ('49) and Shelton Khiry ('53).
New York City FC climbed to 11st place with 13 points from 10 games, tie on points with Philadelphia Union, which has two games in hand.
