MLS : New York City beats Vancouver 3-2
UNITED STATES, Apr. 30, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 1-1 draw against Montreal Impact on April 27, NYCFC bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps this Saturday.
Villa David scored dual goals
Vancouver Whitecaps opened the score in the score in the 1st minute thanks to Rivero Octavio, before New York City regained the advantage with Villa David ('35, '41). Leading 2-1 at the break, NYCFC further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mendoza Steven in the 73rd minute.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC remains in 10th place with 11 points from 10 games, tie on points with Toronto FC, which has three games in hand.
