UNITED STATES, Jul. 31, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 1-1 draw against Colorado Rapids on July 23, the Hoops returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Acosta Kellyn ('56) and Urruti Maximiliano ('59).
FC Dallas remains in first place with 44 points from 24 games, a 6-point lead over runner-up Colorado Rapids, which has three games in hand.
