MLS : Kansas City beats Vancouver 2-0
UNITED STATES, Aug. 20, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 2-2 draw against FC Dallas on August 13, the Wizards returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps this Saturday.
Sporting Kansas City dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Peterson Jacob in the 39th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Wizards further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Feilhaber Benny on penalty in the 64th minute.
Sporting Kansas City climbed to 7th place with 38 points from 27 games, tie on points with Los Angeles Galaxy, which has three games in hand.
