UNITED STATES, Sep. 10, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After a 3-2 victory over DC United on September 1, NYCFC lost 3-1 against New England.

New England dominated the first half thanks to goals from Agudelo Juan ('21) and Nguyen Lee ('42). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Revs further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Fagundez Diego in the 58th minute.

New York City FC are down in 6th place with 44 points from 29 games, tie on points with Real Salt Lake.
