MLS : New York City beats DC United 3-2
UNITED STATES, Sep. 1, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After losing 2-1 to Orlando City on August 28, NYCFC bounced back with a 3-2 victory over DC United this Thursday.
Lampard Frank scored dual goals
DC United had started off well by taking the lead in the 36th minute with a goal by Sam Lloyd. Trailing 1-0 at half time, NYCFC nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Villa David '80 and Lampard Frank '85, '90).
New York City FC climbed to second place with 44 points from 28 games, 4 points behind FC Dallas, which has a game in hand.
