MLS : DC United beats Chicago Fire 6-2

UNITED STATES, Aug. 27, 2016 (AMP) — MLS: After their 2-2 draw against New York Red Bulls on August 24 and 1-1 draw against Montreal Impact on August 24, DCU bounced back with a 6-2 victory over Chicago Fire this Saturday.

Mullins Patrick scored tripple goals

DC United dominated the first half thanks to goals from Acosta Luciano ('25) and Mullins Patrick ('40, '45). Leading 3-2 at the break, DCU further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Nyarko Patrick '51, Mullins Patrick '74 and De Leon Nick '89).

DC United climbed to 11st place with 32 points from 26 games, 5 points behind Montreal Impact.
